   I think it was probably to do with Air conditoning/dehumidifier as I had recently research it via the internet but I can`t be sure because I don`t answer calls from unrecognised numbers

   Been harrassed several times by this company. They behave first agressively in trying to sell, then childishly like naughty teenagers off the street, insulting and making pathetic stupid noises.

   I have also been pestered by this company even though I am on the TPS. I am even more annoyed now as they have started giggling and then leaving offensive messages on my answer machine. I don't see why we should have to pout up with this behaviour, 'll report them to TPS but doubt if it will make any difference.

   Selling solar panels - said I wasn't interested and put the phone down. When I went to check the caller number found it was a few minutes before I could get a dialling tone.

    They rang twice man with strong Glasgow accent asking "Do you want any Gear", plus other dirty comments. Laughed a few times and hang up. This at 10.30am.

    The number is for be green energy. When challenged about how they got my number they came up with it being available on the Postcode Database. As I am ex-dir and tps registered then is just rubbish so will report them.

    Got cold called by this number on 2 July, unfortunately for me I answered it and spoke to someone pertaining to be from a solar panel company giving advice about grants. Told him I was'nt interested and hung-up. Same telephone number has been calling me everyday since then, unfortunately for them their number appears on my phone so now I ignore it, although I am getting fed-up having to check all numbers before I answer the phone. Have also been called by an International number everyday for about the last week but learnt my lesson and never answer those calls.

    Have just been called now by a young male with a very thick Scottish accent, who was wanting to tell me whether or not we were eligible for a solar panel grant.
    He said we were and very quickly tried to put me through to his colleague, at which point I hung up. He didn't even ask if I was remotely interested in having panels installed!

    Scottish woman selling alarms or something - I pointed out that I am TPS but she didn't seem to think they were doing anything wrong cold-calling me. Hung up.

    Marketing call - if they took any notice of TPS they wouldn't be ringing. Have pestered my aged mother into seeing a sales rep which I will attend and have great pleasure in telling him/her to go away and multiply.

    Said she was with Safe Home Security. I said I was with TPS but she said they did not choose the calls. I will report them to TPS for what it is worth

    Cold called by solar panel company purporting to give advice about grants - despite being on telephone preference service. Told caller very difficult to get consent, as we are in a listed building. They rang off, but a few minutes later someone rang back who asked waht grade the building is. When I said that it was a grade 2 he said that there would be no problem as panels can be put on them.
    Unfortunately for him I know about listed building legislation and pointed out that consent is always needed and could well not be forthcoming. He qoted grades in England which had been scrapped 30-40 years ago and finally hung up when he realised I knew what I was talking about.
    Never take advice from suppliers about planning law - as it will be you who carries the can if something goes up without consent. As guidance, listed building consent is always needed for solar panels on listed buildings. It may be granted, but take the council's word, not suppliers with a vested interest. Quite often thay need planning permission in a conservation area as well - talk to your council first!
